After another week off we were back to play against one of the teams who have won the most games so far this season so this was due to be a very tough game. Having seen a couple of Manchester City scouts around and about I let the lads know and the effect was amazing.

The match kicked off and everybody started off playing really well.

Dominating the game we were very unlucky to go a goal down against the run of play after a throw in down the right hand side.

However, AC are made of strong stuff and a fantastic move started off with Adam winning the ball in midfield and playing a raking ball out to the right hand side where Oliver ran down the line before putting in a cross that David Beckham would have been proud of. Up popped the industrious Bob at the far post to finish our best goal of the season.

Our second goal came after some good play left Bob on the edge of the box and he powered his shot over the keeper to put us 2-1 ahead at half time.

As the match played out we continued to control the game but River alt managed to out together a few attacks which resulted in a great through ball being finished off to even the scores with 5 minutes remaining.

The match then turned a bit scrappy as the two sides tried to get the winner but to no avail.

Playing against a strong team this was by far our best performance of the season and I'll be looking out for any more scouts next week.
